Kick off Veterans Day weekend on Saturday, November 9th from 12-8:30pm with a game of pickleball for a great cause! Drink pickle beer, eat pickles, and play a game of pickleball benefiting our new taproom charity, Knot Lucky! Suggested donation is $5 to play! We’ll have two full size indoor courts and a practice court to dink with your friends. Brine and Shine, our Pickle Gose Sour Ale is back on tap and Top Dog food truck will have plenty of relish and other pickled toppings for hot dogs to share. Enjoy fresh homemade pickles from Justin’s B&S Foodz.
Service Brewing is proud to support local charity Knot Lucky by donating a portion of every draft beer sold in our taproom over the next 6 months. We believe with the help of our community, and the shared love of craft beer, together we can support healing and health in the lives of those who protect our freedom.
Knot Lucky is a veteran-operated nonprofit headquartered in Tybee Island. Dedicated to supporting veterans, Knot Lucky offers complimentary fishing excursions and ongoing support by providing connectedness to nature, community, financial and mental health resources. Throughout the spring, summer, and fall seasons, fishing excursions provide a unique space for healing and connection. During the winter months, Knot Lucky takes direct action combat veterans to tag great white sharks using satellite technology. Each shark is named after a fallen warrior, honoring their memory and reinforcing the importance of their legacy. For veterans struggling with mental health, Knot Lucky provides access to counseling and alternative therapies that are effective for treatment-resistant depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and chronic pain. By blending therapeutic resources with unforgettable experiences on the water, Knot Lucky aims to help veterans rediscover healing and purpose.
