Enjoy delicious tacos from the Red Taco Truck. \nThe Intracoastal Playboys are a Savannah\, Georgia based classic country music cover band. The band focuses on music from the golden age of country music\, paying tribute to artists such as Buck Owens\, George Jones\, Loretta Lynn\, Waylon Jennings\, Johnny Paycheck\, Dolly Parton and many more. Formed in 2022 by Andrew Ripley (bass/vocals)\, Tom Worley (drums/vocals)\, Matthew Garappolo (rhythm guitar/vocals)\, Ryan Schimmenti (acoustic guitar/vocals)\, and Kevin Rose (lead guitar)\, the band has grown to incorporate additional Savannah mainstay musicians like Igor Fiskman (pedal steel)\, Phil Price (piano)\, and Mandy Madson (vocals). \nThe band’s dedication to the genre includes not only the music of the time but also looking the part. The Intracoastal Playboys are often clad in cowboy hats\, embroidered shirts and jackets and various other clothes of the period. This dedication to authenticity has helped them to become one of the most popular classic country bands in Savannah. \nThe Intracoastal Playboys have performed at a variety of venues in Savannah\, including The Olde Pink House\, The Grey\, and The Distillery. They have also performed at festivals such as Live Aid\, The Savannah Music Festival\, Woodstock 99 and The Tybee Island Pirate Festival. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday May 20th at Service Brewing for a guided sound journey and gentle yoga session with Sue Finkle and Chrissy Joy. $20 includes a 90 min transformational experience and one pint of beer of your choice. This experience begins promptly at 12pm and feel free to come as early as 11:30am. \nA Sound Journey\, or Sound Therapy\, increases your vibrational frequency and deepens your yoga/meditation practice. During this workshop\, Sue and Chrissy will blend the complimentary healing aspects of a Sound Journey with a gentle yoga practice. \nWhile Sue leads you through a chakra meditation\, gentle yoga class\, and White Lights\, Chrissy will play chakra crystal bowls and a variety of other instruments. \nThis experience will leave you feeling deeply rested\, renewed\, and ready for a cold beer! \nYoga students of all ages and levels welcome! Though just a duo\, the Harrisonburg\, Virginia based singer guitarist Jeff Gorman along with Nashville\, Tennessee based drummer Jake Cochran make surprisingly pummeling and thoughtful alternative rock. Since the band’s 2015 inception\, they’ve intently focused on their unorthodox live show with Cochran standing behind his kit and Gorman playing synth bass with his foot as he sings and strums his guitar. \nFiercely egalitarian and independent\, the two not only split up songwriting duties and arrangement ideas\, they even built bike powered stages: bringing the fans into the live experience and envisioning a greener future for shows. \nBut with their latest album Sunburned\, Gorman and Cochran have turned their attention inward to their songwriting and studio craft. It’s their most fully realized and ambitious LP yet\, one that’s full of immediate songs that update and revolutionize the band’s approach to making music. There are rich keyboard and programmed percussion textures now populating their songs\, as well as soaringly anthemic choruses\, and hefty doses of fuzz. “On our first record\, we were very live focused and wanted to make sure whatever we were writing was translated in person\,” says Gorman. “Without that crutch\, we could be more adventurous and take more risks. We definitely weren’t timid in the studio.” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBASICALLY NANCY started playing in bars before they could legally buy cigarettes. The three-piece girl band\, formed in high school\, were sloppily playing punk covers in venues they couldn’t even drink in. Years later the trio now commands a room with their presence of both heavy tones and aggressive lyrics with a combination of melodic sweetness. The members Alayna Bowen (Bass\, Vocals)\, Greta Schroeder (Guitar\, Vocals)\, and Esther Hines (Drums) find pull from bands such as Mazzy Star\, Babes in Toyland\, The Breeders\, and PJ Harvey to create their own energy and sound. Basically Nancy’s music portrays the experience of being a young woman and the frustrations that come with it. Their self-titled debut album was constructed over the span of a few years with no original intent of being heard but rather as a collaborative therapeutic outlet. This 8% fruit bomb has ripe notes of mangos\, stone fruit and freshly squeezed O.J. Available on draft and 16oz cans.  \nAbout the Can Art:  \nThis new series is another collaboration with Artrepreneur\, an artist run non-profit that supports and promotes artists from across the globe by providing business opportunities and resources. They invited us to create a call for entries for another can design project and we of course accepted with great enthusiasm. We had over 100 portfolios submitted for the project inspired by the story of Operation Acoustic Kitty\, a failed CIA project that was launched in the 1960’s attempting to use cats in missions to spy on the Kremlin and Soviet Embassies. By discreetly affixing batteries\, microphones and antennas to the cats\, the plan was to train them to secretly transmit private conversations back to the CIA. \nI’m sure you can guess how that went for them…. \nOf the many artists that submitted\, we narrowed it down to Canada based artist\, Jacob Rolfe. We instantly fell in love with Jacob’s imaginative work he presents in detailed narratives representing different topics such as environmental issues\, meditation\, literacy and medicinal plants and fungi. He also really loves drawing cats. Get to know him outside his life as a visual artist and you can see him on the big screen in the popular show\, Trailer Park Boys.

Showcasing a variety of unique bikes\, from custom builds\, antiques\, cafe racers\, choppers and rare barn finds.\nWe inspire to bring together our community to share the fun of two wheels and Savannah’s rich history of riding.\n\nWHERE AND WHEN: Saturday\, November 12\, 2022 | Noon – 10 PM at Service Brewing\, 574 Indian Street\, Savannah Georgia.\nADMISSION:$10 per person\, a portion of proceeds benefit Warrior Music Foundation.   *Veterans and Active Duty receive free admission.\n\nEvery year\, we select a noteworthy veteran nonprofit to donate a portion of our show proceeds.
